Fisher Stove Csa Grand Papa

connector headphone jack white screen - black - gray - spotted

I always wondered how he managed to assemble Apple devices so perfect, both in mechanical and electronics. At least until such time as I have not disassembled one. Then I realized that it was just mail.

I happened to his hands held a 3G iPhone * not * be repaired by a service center (do not know how qualified, though). The phone had the famous white screen, in which many encounter as a result of collisions or sometimes for no apparent reason.

A white screen (as well as gray or black), if the phone still shows signs of life that continues to receive calls, moving to vibrate on / off the mute button, and you can not hear the classic sound of stand-by pressing the sleep Committee, indicate without much doubt a problem of display. The problem manifested itself, however, in a non-constant pressing lightly on top of the screen worked fine, then came back again white.

disassembled the display, after a careful microscopic examination I found the damage: the LCD was virtually flat broken! Not so much the stand where the tracks are attached to copper (the flat is actually a sandwich stand in copper-copper-plastic), but just the tracks that lead from the display connector.

In essence, useless.

But what made me think more than anything is, in my opinion, the weak point of the display for iPhone 3G, which is the junction between the flat and the display itself. Since the mobile is flat (not for Apple, which adjusts the mobile but not replace them) has been enhanced with a bit of glue vitrified which theoretically should prevent the detachment of the slopes, but in my opinion, is inadequate. Or are too rigid tracks that being present on both sides fail to pay the fine which is subject to flexing during the disassembly / assembly.

Here is a picture (sorry the quality but not the camera I had available, so I am an engineer with the iPhone):

It can be seen just above the metal shield a break in the tracks the flat black, magnified 30 times below:

The vetrificatura is broken, and even if you do not see just fine layer of copper is cut from side to side, across the width of the flat . On the back the same fracture is a little less known, but it is unequivocal:

It must be said that such an event can occur simply by flexing the flat just over 90 degrees out, so attention during disassembly of the display of 3GS, unless you want to replace the display purpose. If, as in my case, have problems that can occur in the previously mentioned symptoms, you now know what to do.

Enjoy!
